A fob is an adornment or a seal that hangs from the ribbon or chain of a pocket watch. Its purpose is to decorate or add weight to the watch chain itself making it easier for the watch to be withdrawn from a pocket. Crafted in 9kt yellow gold, this whimsical figural fob features an?embowed arm covered in armor, slid under two straps, grasping?a shield.?At?the base of the thick, polished gold bezel-set fob is a rich brown agate seal featuring the Latin phrase "DECREVI" meaning "I decided" carved onto the surface of a folded banner.
